A bridge between business and technology

I help organisations modernise how they serve customers and run operations — connecting systems that were never designed to talk to each other, automating manual processes, and introducing AI where it earns its place. My work spans the full arc of transformation: shaping the target state and business case, designing the architecture, and leading delivery until it is live and owned by the team.

Grounded in enterprise and integration architecture (TOGAF-certified, with deep Oracle SOA/OSB and Java enterprise experience), I translate ambitious strategy into roadmaps, requirements and designs that hold up under real-world load, audit and regulation — proven over nearly a decade inside one of the region's banking groups and now across consulting engagements.

FABMISR (formerly Bank Audi Egypt) · Senior Manager

Specialist architect for integration between core banking and satellite applications, owning end-to-end planning across a portfolio of integration and digital initiatives, and providing architectural continuity through the 2022 merger of Bank Audi Egypt into First Abu Dhabi Bank Group.

  • Architected services linking core platforms (Oracle FCUBS, Bankmate) to payments, trading, ERP and sanctions-screening systems
  • Founded the in-house integration team, bringing delivery back from vendors and shortening change turnaround
  • Primary liaison between business clients, SMEs and delivery teams across many releases
  • Mentored engineers across the SOA/OSB stack and set design and coding standards

Progressed from software developer to team leader and functional consultant, delivering enterprise banking products and leading teams, design and testing across the product lifecycle.

  • Led a team of 10 and the testing function; owned test strategy and reviews
  • Delivered the ETHIX-Frame banking product suite and its application-server upgrade programme
  • Built a jBPM workflow implementation and delivered solutions at customer sites
